We would like to explore with you an exciting opportunity to raise the visibility of your organisation while helping Lisgar Collegiate Institute students represent Canada at the international level.
After an illustrious career at the provincial level in "Reach for the Top, this year the team has been invited to attend the National Academic Quiz Tournaments high-school national finals, to be held in Chicago, IL, on June 3-4, 2006. Such an invitation is a very prestigious honour, awarded to only the top 50 high-school teams in the United States. Lisgar's success marks the first-ever occasion a high-school team would represent Canada at the national finals.
To raise funds for this venture, we are organising a Trivia Night on March 31, 2006 in the newly-renovated Alumni
Auditorium at Lisgar Collegiate. This event will feature performances from Lisgar musical groups and from the
award-winning Lisgar Improv Team. We expect 150-180 people from the community to attend, and opportunities for
corporate sponsorship are many and varied. They include, but are not limited to:
- Gold sponsorship ($200+), which entitles your organisation to
a. display its name and logo in full colour on every question screen and on every answer sheet for that round
b. display its name and logo on all promotional materials for the Trivia Night
c. feature a poster advertisement for your organisation in an animated multimedia presentation before the game and during the intermission (a sample video is available here in QuickTime format, and here in .avi format.)
d. receive recognition from the quizmaster and in media reports including the Lisgar newsletter and the team website
- Silver sponsorship ($150+), which entitles your organisation to
a. feature a poster advertisement for your organisation in an animated multimedia presentation before the game and during the intermission,
b. display its name and logo on all promotional materials for the Trivia Night
c. receive recognition from the quizmaster and in media reports including the Lisgar newsletter and the team website
- Bronze sponsorship ($100+), which entitles your organisation to
a. display its name and logo on all promotional materials for the Trivia Night
b. receive recognition from the quizmaster and in media reports
As well, we highly appreciate such donations as
- Company logo materials such as pens, scratch pads or clipboards to be used during the Trivia Night.
- Food donations, as we will be selling refreshments during the Trivia Night.
- Items for door prizes or prizes for the highest round score.
Other sponsorship suggestions would be welcome and would certainly be considered for inclusion!
